| I purchased the Harris BRMS bipod with the #5 adapter. I love the bipod but the adapter was a big disappoint!! The only thing holding this on the hand guard is the stud screw. If you over tighten this, you could break the plastic hand guard. I also had to modify the bracket that came with the bipod (I had to use a saw to shorten the internal peace to fit in the guard. If Harris is stating this unit fits AR type guards, you would have thought they would have a bracket that would fit without modification! For the quality of the bipod, I would have thought they would have designed a better way of attaching the bipod to this handguard. This is $10.00 that I'm not getting back!! I have since changed the guard to a floating forearm. This way I can use a detachable mount like LaRue Tactical Harris Bipod Adapter QD LT-130! I hope Harris re-designs this mount. |
