Well I wanted a nice positive grip on my front strap, but didn't want to have to pay $100+ to get some checkering put on... I saw these and couldn't believe the price. They fit very well requiring only minor cutting to fit perfectly behind your grips with no overshadowing. They also allow you to get the benefit of other products wrap around rubber grips, but allow you to use your traditional grips at the same time. I much prefer this setup over some cheesy full rubber wrap around grips. I saw the benefit of the more positive grip the 1st time I went shooting. I would recommend these to anyone who has no checkering on their front strap.

Awesome!

These inserts are fantastic!! They're CHEAP but they really get the job done. They provide a nice, comfortable grip, and they allow you to use your existing favorite set of grip panels. I will be ordering more for all of my 1911's once they're back in stock!

Not bad for the price

These grips provide a nice, comfortable frontstrap. I have a much more confident grip on my RIA 1911 now. They did require a little trimming around the edges to match the contour of my original grips. Would recommend to anybody.
