| I purchased these pruners a couple weeks ago to have on hand for the upcoming turkey season. Just to get a feel for them, I used them around the yard to do a little pruning of small branches on our apple trees. They performed well. So I took them to the field with me to clear a couple shooting lanes for next fall. When cutting a twig about the size of my pinky, they broke in half at the cross piece that joins the top and bottom handles. I have never had any type of bad experience with Gerber products, until now. If they decided to make these out of metal, I might try them again. The cut easily, but didn't hold up. |
