Nice look, but be careful, 10/16/2007

I bought these grip screws because I didn't like the look of the slotted screws in my Springfield 1911, and they were beginning to burr along the slots. The hex head screws look great. But while installing the fourth and last screw, the head broke off, leaving the headless screw irretrievably in the bushing. I was horrified. But after contacting Tracy Stinson with CTD customer service, I was given the name and extension number to a Wilson Combat CS rep. He sent me a new bushing and new set of screws no charge the very next day. Thanks Tracy. My 1911 is now 100% once again. I would also recommend CTD's Hogue rubber grips with finger grooves. Not the prettiest of grips, but the most functional I've found.
