this is the best ammo ive fired. i have a fn patrol bolt rifle w/ a leupold mark 4 4.5x14x50 at 100 yds, i got same hole. 200yds, i got 1/4 inch. it turned a 170lb. doe's head into a canon. this is all i will shoot from now on.

Tight groups with semi-auto

I had to weigh in here. I have a DPMS LR-308 with a 26" bareel. At 100 yards this stuff shoots better than most anything i have put through it, (less than 1moa)including Hornandy, Remington, Winchester, etc.. I have encountered no stoppages of any type, or any blow back.

Good

Accurate ammunition even in a 1x10 twist barrel. In my LR-308 semi automatic I had absolutely no unburned powder, good accuracy and very little fouling. This ammo was significantly cleaner than Remington UMC.

You dirty dirty ammo.

I had the same experience with the ammo as the reviewer who said he had a bunch of junk fly back at him. After every shot, I inhaled a bunch of very acrid heavy smoke. The rounds didn't seem that accurate, but that was after the wind had picked up at the range, so it could've been me. You could do to spend a little less and get a little more w/ the American Eagle ammo. Admittedly, I've fired 200 rounds of AE, 300 of Silver Bear, and only about 40 rounds of the Power-Shok... I'm going to fire off the rest of this and then I won't buy it again.

Mostly good ammo.

I was getting tight groupings with this ammo in my Springfield M1A scout. Out of my first box of 200 rounds I ordered I had 1 FTF unfortunately. Unlike the other reviewer who said to expect fouling and powder bits going everywhere, I have not encountered this. I have never had powder hitting my face and it is no harder to clean my rifle afterwards than other ammo types. Good quality ammo on the whole.

feeds great but doesnt burn as well

hey this stuff feeds great and is relatively accurate, however if you use this in a semi automatic expect fouling! the powder doesnt burn well so expect the crap to build up in your gun and the ejected cartridges will spew a little of the stuff in your face, i wouldve thought that having my face on the opposite side of the gun would keep the powder out of my face but there is just too much of it flying around for it to stay on one side of the gun. so if you use semi auto expect to breathe and get hit with some really gritty powder with every shot
