You can't beat these knives, 06/13/2008 |

| I own 3 of these knives. One with grey handle / black partially serrated blade and 2 with black handle and satin stainless plain edge blade. These knives hold up to more punishment and are made better than some other knives that I've used that cost upwards of $150 and more. You can quickly flip the blade out by pressing the button lock and flicking your wrist. The blade is made great and so is the handle. Boker really came through when they produced the Kalashnikov model. On another note, Boker makes these knives so that you can easily add a coil spring to them and turn them into fully automatic 'switchblades' with about 5 minutes work. Very simple using 2 Torx screwdrivers and a $2 coil spring (although you might want to check your local laws before converting them). Other dealers and so-called 'wholesalers' are selling these knives for alot more than 30 bucks a pop. They are worth every penny if you need a great knife that will last for years. Pictures really don't do the knives justice. They are simply BEAUTIFUL. Boker also makes these with standard linear locks and thumb studs if you prefer that over the button lock model. The linear lock model sells for a little less but isn't as slick as the button lock model and can't be converted to a full auto switchblade. |
