Nosler has replaced the familiar lead point of the Spitzer with a tough polycarbonate tip. The purpose of this Ballistic Tip is to resist deforming in the magazine and feed ramp of many rifles. The Solid Base design produces controlled expansion for excellent mushrooming and exceptional accuracy.
