This is a high quality knife, very solidly built, and just right for my hand. They make 'gentlemens' sizes also, but this one is just right for a working knife, and it goes anywhere I do where I might need a knife as a tool. Some assisted open knives can be very snappy (and attention-getting), but this is just right. If you opened this one in front of people, they might just think you have really good opening mechanics. Being able to push the 'kick' from the back side with your forefinger makes the knife easier to open with a more relaxed hold. It's very comfortable. Also - and I readily admit this is just me - I prefer the lock-back to the liner lock, and I like the clip on the heel. The only complaint is that you don't really need the safety, and if you carry the knife loose with a lot of stuff in your pocket, it can get brushed into the on position. This is a great knife that compares well to knives costing 50% more. And, it was featured in an episode of 'House.' What more do you need?
