poorly designed poorly made, 01/23/2008 |

| Poorly designed, poorly made. First: The front site has no protective covering as do almost all other air rifles. The delicate front site broke with the slightest of a bump. Beeman said "that is the way it comes from China" and refused to send a front site protector. Second and worst: on the fifth day of use, about 125 to 150 shots total, the whole cocking arm disconnected and slid down into the stock cracking it. Beeman claims this is their "less expensive line designed to introduce people into 'air rifling'" Well if that is their strategy with this line of gun we will not see any increase in 'air riflers' soon. |
Great Power, 12/30/2007 |

| This is a nice gun. The stock is really nice and the barrels change easily. The gun has good power with both .117 and .22. Has plenty of power with the .22 to take small game easily. The scope is good and is accurate but has to be readjusted when the barrels are changed. The aim is much different with the .117 than it is with the .22. Because of this I probably wont switch barrels very frequently. The trigger pull is somewhat stiff but may loosen up with time. The gun did tend to diesel some (pop like a .22 rimfire) and this caused the first few shots to be wild but that calmed down after the factor lube burned off with a few shots. The change in the aim between barrels is the only negative and the only reason it didn't get a 5 bullet rating from me. All in all this gun is well worth the price at Cheaper than Dirt! |
a nice gun, but, 08/18/2007 |

| This gun seems to be a very nice gun, and is well built and shows of having quality. It is very solid, has good power and is a quite handsome and well built. However, the trigger pull is very very heavy! I find it impossible to shoot with accuracy with that much trigger pull. It is the heaviest trigger I have ever had to work with. If a person can stay on target pulling that much on the trigger, began shoots quite accurately. I myself have arthritis, and tend to pull off each time I squeezed the trigger, with so heavy a pull. The gun has a very nice stock, and the barrels interchange with ease. If only they had given it a lighter trigger pull it would be the perfect pellet rifle. I'm sure the trigger assembly could be customized somewhat, but the cost would be probably more than that of buying a gun that already had an adjustable setting for the trigger. Otherwise, I love the rifle. |
