This is an amazing product, well worth the price. I had one sent to me with a pack date of 5/2007. When I received it, it did not work properly due to (in my estimation) a problem with the first production run. The laser would not stay on as it should. After a quick phone call to Lasermax in Rochester, they sent me (free of charge) a new takedown lever and battery cap. That solved all my problems. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of this issue. This product is top quality, Lasermax customer service is as well. You will not be dissapointed! You do get what you pay for!
