I tried a box of these shells in a 100 year old Parker with nitro steel barrels(not Damasus)on the trap range. I havepreviously used only light paper loads in this fine old shotgun. The Winlite loads were excellent, with plenty of power to dust targets but with recoil that was literaly softer than a 3".410 and a soft report. Obviously good for teaching women and teens to shoot, there is really no reason other than cost to not use these loads all the time in any shotgun used in populated areas,or in classic shotguns. And there was no shoulder bruise the next morning. Try some; you'll like them.

These are great for the pistol grip shotguns like the Mossberg 500. If you've got some new shooters, this is also a great round to shake off the nervousness.
