I bought these rings because I have a Barska 56mm objective lens scope - 6.5-20 on my AR15. My old Aimpoint rings that were supposed to be "tall" were not tall enough to clear my handguard - so rather than buying a different handguard, I bought these rings. I like everything about them but the dual rail connectors. It makes centering the scope very difficult, front to rear. If they had just 1 rail connector instead of 2, I would rate it 5 bullets.

Contrary to what the last guy wrote, these rings are designed with two side to side adjustment anchor screws for a reason and that reason is to get rid of excess windage when attached and anchored to the rail and then you can fine tune your windage adjustments with your scope dials. Have you ever heard tell of someone having to shim a scope due to excess windage or not enough windage adjustment in the scope, these rings eliminate the need for that, thats what makes them so special, kinda like leupold or millet style mounts. Personally I think that these rings are just the trick for eliminating just such on weaver style bases, and are something that shooters have actually been needing for a long time. These rings are solid as a rock and very dependable at holding zero, 5 stars ***** for a great design and a superior product, and I personally would recommend them to anyone.

These work well on an AR-15 flat top. You can get a good size scope mounted and it will get the scope high enough that it will easily be able to see around the Front A sight. I gave them a 3 for having a hex nut on each side of the rail rather then just one screw with a thumb nut on it. It was a little bit more of a hassle to get the rings and scope lined up since having 2 screws allowed them to be tightened at different positions on the rail. This caused my scope to need more windage adjustment then normal. Once you get past that they hold tight and work great. They also come with a protective liner on the inside of the rings to protect the scope.
