This is a well made case with a fairly strong exterior, nice rubber liner and good foam options (one layer allows you to custom fit it to your gun). The "continuous piano hinge" sounds like a great thing and all because it should be harder to get into, but what's hard to see in the pictures (and is true for the other similar Pro-Tech cases) is that there's only ONE latch on the front. While that latch seems well made and tight, the outer edges of the case bow out a bit when closed, especially if you have anything in there that puts much pressure on the foam. Would be pretty easy to bend it open, but overall I'm fairly happy with it.
