CO2 is a refrigerant and will reduce velocity somewhat if you don't wait a few seconds between shots so the gun can warm up a bit. Also, CO2 is sensitive to cold temperatures, and cold air temperatures will lower velocities noticeably. You'll get your best performance from CO2 if the air temp is 65 degrees or warmer.
