The BLACKHAWK Serpa holster design allows you to forget old fashioned thumb breaks that slow your draw and complicate reholstering. The patented SERPA Technology lock engages the trigger guard as you holster your pistol and the lock will not let go until you release it. The release is accomplished using a normal drawing motion, with the trigger finger beside the holster body. The Serpa is the perfect retention holster for concealed carry. The weapon cannot accidentally leave the holster.

BLACKHAWK Serpa Technology features a full firing grip for draw and immediate retention upon reholster. With the Serpa there is no thumb break or awkward middle finger release to slow down your draw. The holsters speed cut allows faster drawing and easy reholstering.

The pictures for different models are wrong too. But, as the other gentleman pointed out, I too got the right CQC holster. This holster just blows me away! I feared it would just be another plastic waste but I was thrilled to be wrong! I will order these from CTD for all my pistols. High quality and tough as nails. Another home run from Blackhawk. I can't wait to get my next one. CTD has the best price and service I've found 10 years+.

Just got this in the mail and I couldn't be happier. I know CTD has a picture of an XD in a Sporter model. However I did recieve the correct CQC model holster. You might have to look around to find pictures of the different types. Any way my SA-XD.45 fit perfectly. And connected to a S.T.R.K.E. Platform gives this holster the most versatility for the buck. Also this holster comes with both a 1" belt attachment point and a 2" waistband Paddle. Buy it you won't regret it.

The XD holster is the second SERPA I have owned. The other was for an IMI Baby Eagle. I recommend the SERPA to everyone that carries a pistol for either duty, work, or self defense. I will not take a training class that wdoes not allow SERPA holsters. I figure they aren't good enough to train me.

This quite simply is the best holster I have ever owned! It doesn't flop around on my belt like the holster that came with the XD did and it even stays in place when I run! My favorite thing about it is that the button that releases the weapon puts your trigger finger in perfect shooting position! It doesn't scratch my gun either like a lot of other similar polymer holsters . . . For twice the price this is still a great holster! I LOVE IT!!

I know someone who uses his for his XDM and it works very well. I just haven't really gotten around to getting one for mine yet because I really don't carry my XDM, I usually carry my Sig P229. I've got one for that in a carbon finish for when I shoot competitions but I'm going to get one for when I go shoot competitions.
