Stay away from these. Go OEM!, 01/28/2008 |

| Stay away from these mags. They work and feed fine initially, but if you leave them loaded for over a few days, the spring loses strength and the rounds will not feed properly. I left two of these magazines loaded for a couple weeks, and after firing a couple shots, the follower no longer feed the ammo through the magazine. I ended up with 30 9mm rounds rattling around inside of a $20.00 piece of plastic junk.
I repaired these magazines by replacing the stock springs with OEM springs, taking off the +2 baseplate and putting on a standard Glock OEM baseplate. They seem to work fine now, but I invested another $7-$8 per mag to get them functioning properly. I am still not 100% convinced that they would work well in a SHTF situation though.
So, my advice? Go ahead and pay more for the OEM version. It will save you a headache in the long run. |

These mags stink, 06/17/2007 |

| I have to agree with the previous review. I bought 2 of these mags and had problems from the start. The inside is not metal lined like the OEM glock mags. Thus the springs in my 2 mags kept getting stuck on bits of plastic left behind in the mag when it was made. After taking it apart and filing down all the thin bumps myself I still had trouble with the spring bringing all the rounds to the top. Don't bother with this stuff especially if you had to rely on them to save your life, you would be better off throwing your gun at the bad guys! |

| Georgia LEO here. I purchased three of these mags a couple months back because of the good price. The first trip to the range, they performed flawlessly. However, after loading them and letting them sit in the gun safe for around three weeks - all three were severely problematic; refusing to feed rounds properly. This appears to be a problem with spring quality - as there is now not enough pressure to push the follower & rounds all the way to the top of the magazine. I suppose they could be rebuilt with Glock OEM G18 mag springs, but why bother paying extra? I'd consider going with G17 mags or OEM G18 mags instead of purchasing these cheaper ones, you will come out better in the long run. |
