2.0 Rating got them to feed, eventually... - 10/25/2009Glock 9mm Mag Extended 33 Rounds Black2.0000
Reviewer: CMR
I had all kinds of feeding issues with 3 of these in my KelTec Sub-2000 - the follower would get stuck at the half-way point, especially with steel-cased ammo. Cleaning and deburring didn't help much. I swapped the +2 extension with the floor-plate of my factory 17-round mags (now 19 rounds) to take them down to 31-rounds to stay legal in my state, and replaced the follower with Glock factory spare and the spring with a Wolff extra-power, and it mostly feeds fine now (still doesn't like steel case). Wouldn't want to bet my life on them, though.

I bought three of these magazines while in the military, got deployed before I ever got to try them out and when I did about a year later, they would not load. I could not get more than 28 rounds in any of them. I thought maybe cause they were new, they might be just a little stiff so I came back to CTD and ordered a Glock magazine loader for about $12. When that got here, I still could not load the mags as the loader was made for smaller mags. I called CTD and even though it was over a year later, they understood about my being deployed and they refunded my money. These magazines are total crap but 'Cheaper Than Dirt' is a class act business. I just wish they would either stop carrying these crap magazines or get in the manufacturer's butt and make them fix the problem with these mags. I now have three Glock factory mags and have had no problems. Pay the extra and get the Factory.

1.0 Rating Stay away from these. Go OEM! - 1/28/2008Glock 9mm Mag Extended 33 Rounds Black1.0000
Reviewer: Odingaard
Stay away from these mags. They work and feed fine initially, but if you leave them loaded for over a few days, the spring loses strength and the rounds will not feed properly. I left two of these magazines loaded for a couple weeks, and after firing a couple shots, the follower no longer feed the ammo through the magazine. I ended up with 30 9mm rounds rattling around inside of a $20.00 piece of plastic junk. I repaired these magazines by replacing the stock springs with OEM springs, taking off the +2 baseplate and putting on a standard Glock OEM baseplate. They seem to work fine now, but I invested another $7-$8 per mag to get them functioning properly. I am still not 100% convinced that they would work well in a SHTF situation though. So, my advice? Go ahead and pay more for the OEM version. It will save you a headache in the long run.
