back in 2001,i was a police officer and extreme shock had not been out for long.they sent me several boxes of 40 cal 165gr, and 2 boxes of 223.
i had to fire on a pit bull and i hit hin behind the neck.he droped like a rock.one shot one one kill.my partner had to shoot a pit bull 2 weeks later using gold dot 40 165gr. and had to shoot the dog 9 times before dropping it.this is the best bullet i've ever used and carried on duty.i trust it with my life.my partner had to buy him some of my bullets.if they did that good on a 140lb pit bull,i could only think what it would have done on a person.that god i've never shot a human,but if i had,i feel that round would have done its job.
