Beeman 1050

I just noticed this rifle is sold out. It is a less expensive Beeman, but notice the trigger pull; 3.5 pounds. I bought this rifle and placed a Gamo varmint scope on it. This rifle is fun!!! Be aware of its velocity, I cannot stress this aspect enough. With the right pellet, your velocities will approach that of a .22. The trigger pull of this rifle is true at 3.5 pounds, vs. the almost same rifle sold at Walmart or Cabela's which I am told is closer to 6 pounds. I hunted animals in all my youth. I still own a few firearms. I have even shot blackpowder. I do not kill animals anymore, but for the skill of shooting, this rifle is a great starter. I got this rifle for the backyard, but beware, many cities now outlaw the discharge of a gun or firearm within city limits. I am going to sandbags as a backstop. This rifle at 20 yards will go through multiple layers of coardboard and a bag of potting soil. When this company comes in stock of the Crossman Phantom, without scope, grab it. Get a scope with an adjustable objective. If you do not know what I am talking about, do your homework. Notice the weights of pellets, and the shapes. Note some pellets come with steel tips, and some are even gold plated. At about $84, good luck if this C.T. D. offers the 1050 again. Jim
