Mediocre

I got this for my 870 express and modified my magazine tube with a dremel tool. It works, but the extension gets loose after a few shots. If you buy this you should also get some kind of clamp to hold it in place. Order them both at the same time and save on shipping. The extra 3 shots are nice, but it compromised the integrity of my firearm.

Not Compatable with NEF Pardner Pump

This item is NOT compatable with the NEF Pardner Pump 12-Ga Shotgun. (18.5 inch barrel, 5+1 Mag Tube) The extension goes a full 2~3 inches past the barrel! However, the extension DOES thread on to the existing mag tube correctly. I would not recommend this item for any Remington 870 Clones. (Might work with a 20 inch barrel though..... just a thought) Anyway, I hope this review helps with anyone considering on purchasing this item for a Remington 870 Clone.

Well-made product, but does not work. The product does not take into account the fact that the shell follower must enter the original magazine tube at a specific angle, otherwise it gets hung up. This product does not work for the Remington 870 Express.

This mag extension works flawlessly on my 870 express. I wanted to give it 4 bullets because it does look cheap but then again it is cheap. But the point is more shells down range right. So 5 it is. Thanks CTD for the good product good price and fast service.
Decent product

The ATI mag extensions do their job and the replacement spring has enough push. The only downside is if you plan on mounting a tactical light from the extension. By the time you get the clamp tight enough to keep it in place, you've squeezed the nylon extension enough to keep you from loading the last shell, or worse, the shell at the end of the extension will be stuck in place and spring can't go anywhere. The plastic extension itself looks a bit cheap on an otherwise sweet gun.
