| Bushnell is a great company. CTD is a great company. If you will never be able or willing to afford a night vision device but want one, then get this. If you are expecting to hunt with it, don't. Get a night vision riflescope. The only hunting application I could imagine is varmint hunting, particularly rabbits, at night time with the aid of a laser sight on a rimfire rifle. But I got this specifically because it is illegal to hunt here using illumination, so the laser pointer defeats the purpose of having it. So for all practical purposes, I have no use for this. It is little more than a fun novelty. It runs on two AAs that last a while with simple on/off power button and an on/off button for infrared. It must be focused for parallax at various distances. It is very light and comes with a lanyard to carry it on your neck. |
