I found this scope at this price to be a fair deal even with the extra shipping cost. I mounted this on my 10/22 and took it on a bunny hunt. The pros - EXCELLENT low light gathering. It compared to scopes going for $100+ in this area. Also it did not fog up one bit on a 40 degree day with on and off rain. It held at zero for over 200 rounds of .22LR. The Cons - It is very touchy with the distance from your eye. It has a very small window for full view and must be mounted carefully to fix this. Also it is slightly too powerfull for a .22LR for fast moving targets. It worked fine but a slightly lower power would be better. For still targets and plinking this is a GREAT buy. Just as a side note I mounted this on my AR-15 just to see how it did, it held at zero for over 160 rounds on this rifle and was actually better suited to that gun than the 10/22. Overall for the money I compared it to SEVERAL scopes at the local big box store and it was equal to scopes there selling for close to $100. It's no Leupold, but it was still a good deal. One downside is you WILL NEED new rings. The rings it shipped with were total garbage. I paid an extra $11.73 to buy a set of Leupold rings at the big box mart and it was worth it. Even with the shipping cost and the price of new rings it's worth it.
