I have one of these ATN optics on a .22 rifle. Used it for about 5 months now. It has been used in temps from 20 to 70 degrees. It has not changed zero. Has been reliable without any problems. Would buy another in a heartbeat.
Ultra sight red dot

I think the ultra sight is a very good, moderately priced red dot sight. I attached it to weaver mounts on a Ruger 22/45 Mark III and it has maintained excellent accuracy. At the end of shooting, I remove the sight and place it in a case. When I reattach it later, it is still right on. I even loaned it to another individual with a weaver mount and he only needed very minor adjustment to be hitting the bull's eye at 50 feet.
bad design

I agree with another review that the design is terrible. The only way I could change the battery without removing the scope from the weapon was to file down the head of a large nail. Other that that the function was adequate.
Bad Design!

I purchased this product because ATN has the reputation of being the best of the lower end Red Dots/Reflex. I am not willing to pay for EOTech and the NCStar etc. are disposable junk. So, I decided to pay near $100 to get better quality, but never even made it to the Range to see if it was better. It has a battery compartment on the bottom? Have to take it off to change them. Moreover, it literally does not fit my Browning Buckmark with Tactical Solutions Rail. It bottoms-out on the Rail and you can't turn the dial for power/intensity/battery. Also, changing the Reticle can be off Zero by many inches. Bad design!!
