Very Poor, 05/13/2008 |
| Reviewer: Madhauler, Nazareth, PA |
| I broke in my new Beretta 92FS on this ammo and was very disappointed. In fact, I thought my Beretta was a lemon. It jammed after almost every round. The best I could fire was three consecutive rounds before a jam. Stove pipes, misfeeds, casings failing to eject...ARG! I tried some UMC ammo, and it fed like a charm! On another occasion I tried shooting the Independence ammo through my Glock 19. Same thing: jam, jam, jam. Then I tried the UMC; surprise, no problems. Not sure what the difference is between the two brands, but I won't purchase any more Independence. Oh yeah, this stuff hurts! I've never felt so burning powder blown back in my face; wear eye protection with this stuff! Sorry Independence, that was my experience with 250 rounds of your product; never again. |

| I shot 200 rounds of this ammo. It does not feed well in my Glock 17. It jams in just about every clip. I will not buy anymore of this ammo. I will stick to a better brand.

| As a NRA Certified Instructor & State of Florida Licensed "K" (Armed Guard Trainer) license holder, I have had no problems with this ammo. The only occassion for a misfire was my student "limp wristing" their pistol, causing a stovepipe. Granted there is a little extra "GSR" but overall, I find this is a great value & "practice" ammo.
I recommend only carrying some sort of personal defense ammo for personal or professional purposes. The weight & grain to match what you practice with.

Outstanding Ammo, 11/15/2007 |

| This ammo is great, it performed well above average and didn't have any stoppages, misfeeding, or duds. Anybody experiencing problems with factory ammo should check their own skills first and then their weapon. I've fired qualification courses in the military with weapons malfunctions almost every other shot and still scored expert with the stoppages being a problem with either a dirty weapon or worn parts. I bought a full case of Independence Ammo and would buy more, Thank you Independence. |

| THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST STUFF OUT THERE,YOU WILL HAVE MISFEEDS AND
NUMEROUS JAMS WITHIN FOURTY ROUNDS..
MY H&K P-7 PSP IS A VERY DEPENDABLE WEAPON AND IS MY PRIMARY CARRY,
I WAS VERY SHOCKED WHEN THE PROBLEMS STARTED,ONE LOOK INSIDE OF
THE SLIDE AND THERE WAS THE ANSWER,THE RAMP AND CHAMBER WERE SO
LOADED UP WITH A THICK LAYER OF CRAP,THE ROUNDS WERE DIGGING IN
AND FAILING TO CHAMBER..
THE GUN AND MAG HAD TO BE BROKEN DOWN BEYOND NORMAL CLEANING AND
THE PARTS HAD TO BE SOAKED THEN WIRE BRUSHED TO REMOVE THE
DIRT AND CRUD..
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND..
